How do I check my child in?

When you arrive, head to the Vertical Kids check-in area. A team member will help you check in your child and print a secure name tag. First-time families are encouraged to arrive 10–15 minutes early so we can assist you and answer any questions.

What ages are served in Vertical Kids?

Vertical Kids serves children six weeks old through fifth grade. Children are placed in age-appropriate rooms designed to help them learn, worship, and grow in a safe and engaging environment.

Is my child safe?

Yes. Your child’s safety is very important to us. All Vertical Kids leaders and volunteers undergo background checks, and our check-in system ensures that only approved guardians can pick up your child after service.

Should I pre-register my child?

Pre-registering is recommended, especially for first-time guests. It helps speed up the check-in process and allows you to enjoy a smooth, stress-free arrival on Sunday morning.

What happens if my child needs me during service?

If your child needs you, a Vertical Kids leader will contact you using the information provided at check-in. Our team is attentive and caring, and we’ll make sure you’re notified promptly.

When do I pick up my child?

Children remain in their age-appropriate classrooms for the duration of the service. Please pick up your child immediately following the Sunday gathering using your matching security tag.

Are photos or videos taken during services?

Yes. This area may be used for photos, videos, or audio recordings for church media, including our website, social media, and printed materials. If you have any concerns, please speak with a Vertical Kids leader or the Connections Team.
